Here is today's sketch for me. I have problems finding the fine line between photo realistic and "sketchy" sketches, and this piece isn't very sketch like, but I'm working on it...

if you're trying to loosen up a bit you might try giving yourself a time limit. also, draw with large blocks of shapes and colors instead of lines. holding the pencil farther back or not resting your hand on the paper are all things that work for me when i get too tight.
