what's your interest?
photography, fine art, music
what holds you back from doing art, and what pushes you to keep creating?
procrastination. if i don't have a goal of a certain number of pieces in a week or month, i just don't do any.

i find that art and music is very rewarding. finishing a piece brings a great sense of accomplishment and meaning. seeing other people's work inspires me to be better and create more pieces.
what is your ultimate goal with your art?
i feel that God has given me so much to work with, now i feel like i have to perfect each thing He has given to me for it not to be a waste. i want to create art and music and not have regrets later on in life that i didn't. i want to have something to show for what i have been blessed with.
a bit about my work:
with my painting, i want to feel comfortable painting any subject and enjoy every minute of it. my goal with photography is to find something interesting in ordinary objects, and to try to capture the originality of beautiful things. my music is something that always surprises me, but i just want to create something that is fresh and unique.

charcoal onion

Here is today's sketch for me. I have problems finding the fine line between photo realistic and "sketchy" sketches, and this piece isn't very sketch like, but I'm working on it...

thursday's art post 06. 12. 08

A friend of mine started posting a sketch a day on made and he has inspired me to do the same. I have enjoyed posting a piece every week (or intending to) and sketching for a least a few minutes every day will only do me good.

So, this is my sketch for today. I probably… Continue

monday's photo blog post.

This is one of my favorite shots of the tulips I photographed the other day. This was taken with our Nikon D70 through the lens of an Argus 75 medium format camera. It gives a great effect. The focal point is not quite in sharp focus, and the rest has a nice grainy texture… Continue

Thanks! And thanks for inviting me! This is really neat. I'll have to get some pieces together to get on here. What a great idea!
